PICOS DE EUROPA
The Liebana area is a great geographical depression surrounded by the awesome heights of the Peaks. The contrast between the limestone, which these mountains are made of, and the green meadows is the main characteristic.

An awesome gorge, named Desfiladero de La Hermida, is the only way of Access from the coastal area.
LIEBANA FORESTS
Due to their perfect natural conditions, the forests of Liébana were one of the main reasons for the creation of the National Park of Picos de Europa.
Walking Tour
A walking tour is included, guided by a specialized professional. It is an easy path but nor for disabled people. Good shoes, water and some food will be necessary. Sun block is also recommended.
PATH
The Liébana paths are very popular among mountaineers, both amateur and professional alike. Pilgrims also visit this area on their Camino to Santiago de Compostela.
